At 30Avenue, Inlet Beach's Wine-Dinner Season Opens With Two Tables on the Same Friday

Tomorrow night, Friday, Nov. 13, two restaurants at 30Avenue serve ticketed wine dinners on the same evening. Cuvee 30A is pouring Dakota Shy. Aja Elevated Asian is pouring Menagerie Wines. Both are inside the same center at 12805 U.S. Highway 98 East. Through the end of the year, 30Avenue's bigger evenings come from these two kitchens, and both are booked in advance. Cuvee's dinner is a prepaid ticket with limited seating, and Aja's is a set-price reservation through Toast. Planning a special night here now starts with choosing a dinner and booking it ahead.

One Friday, Two Tasting Menus

The two dinners overlap in time, so each table is a full evening and you'll have to pick one. Here's how they compare, based on each restaurant's own booking page.

Cuvee 30A: Dakota Shy Aja: Menagerie Dinner
Date Friday, Nov. 13, 2026 Friday, Nov. 13, 2026
Seating 5:30 p.m. 6 p.m. reservation slot on Toast
Format Five courses paired with Dakota Shy wines Six courses, six wines
Price $195 per person, tax and gratuity included $399 per guest at the 6 p.m. slot
Extras Hosted by winemaker Tom Garrett Art presentation and after-party
Location at 30Avenue Suite D101 Suite T101

Cuvee prices its tickets per person, and the price already includes tax and gratuity. Aja books through Toast, where the 6 p.m. inside seating shows $399 per guest, so $798 for two, and parties can run from one to eight guests. For a couple, that's $798 at Aja against $390 all-in at Cuvee, and the gap tracks what each evening includes.

What Each Room Is Pouring

Cuvee 30A belongs to Chef Tim Creehan. For this dinner, Cuvee's event page lists five courses built around Dakota Shy Winery, with winemaker Tom Garrett hosting the table. The same page profiles Dakota Shy founder Todd Newman alongside Garrett and Creehan. It also says seating is limited, recommends booking early, and requires a valid credit card to reserve and buy the ticket.

Aja is the newer of the two rooms. 30Avenue's directory calls it the "latest addition" to the center's dining lineup and lists dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. daily. On its own site, Aja describes itself as an Asian fusion kitchen focused on sushi and Japanese cuisine. The Menagerie dinner pairs that kitchen with Menagerie Wines and adds more than food and wine. The David Yarrow team leads an interactive art presentation featuring selections from Yarrow's collection, and the evening ends with an after-party hosted by Shore Thing Cigars. If you have questions before booking, Aja's listed phone number is 850-493-6437.

So the choice comes down to the kind of night you want. Cuvee offers a winemaker at the table with a five-course menu. Aja offers a longer evening of six pairings, the art program and a cigar after-party.

The Second Date Falls on a Tuesday

After Nov. 13, the next ticketed dinner at 30Avenue is Cuvee 30A's PlumpJack Winter Wine Dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2026. Seating is at 5:30 p.m., and the price is again $195 per person with tax and gratuity included. Cuvee's PlumpJack page says reservations are required and seating is limited. Because it's on a weeknight, this one is easier to fit around December's weekend plans.

Cuvee's wine-dinner schedule lists just these two dinners, Dakota Shy on Nov. 13 and PlumpJack on Dec. 8, and notes that dates are subject to change. The same page links to two other ways to book Cuvee: a reserved happy hour in the bar and a Chef's Table reservation. Its homepage lists dinner from 4 to 9:30 p.m. nightly and marks those hours as seasonal. On nights without a ticketed dinner, the bar and the Chef's Table give you a smaller version of the same kitchen.

The Rest of the Week Runs on Walk-In Hours

The ticketed dinners only happen a few nights a year. The other eight dining tenants on 30Avenue's dining page cover the rest of the week. Here they are in order of when each one opens, using the hours listed in the center's directory or on the restaurant's own site:

  1. Canopy Road Cafe, Suite B100, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  2. Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery, Suite B101, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
  3. Amici 30A Italian Kitchen, Suite R101, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, according to Amici's own site.
  4. Amigo's 30A Mexican Kitchen, Suite Q101, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, according to Amigo's own site.
  5. Goatfeathers Seafood Market, Suite O101, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
  6. Obscure Wine Company, Suite M101, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, listed as both dining and retail.
  7. Proper Restaurant & Bar, Suite E101. The center's directory sends diners to Proper's website for current hours.

Obscure Wine Company stays open until 11 p.m., so it's an easy last stop after either dinner on Nov. 13. It's also the place on this list to pick up a bottle. Seasonal hours can change, so call ahead for anything time-sensitive.

Two Changes Along the Walkway

In August 2026, a fire caused significant damage to the Goatfeathers business on County Highway 30A near Gulfview Heights in Santa Rosa Beach. WMBB reported on Aug. 13 that the fire was believed to be an accident, and WJHG covered firefighters working the scene along County Highway 30A. The 30Avenue location is a separate business at 12805 U.S. 98 East. Its own site describes a seafood market and a quick-service café, and its Toast ordering page lists hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The market's number is 850-909-0090, and calling before a seafood run is the easiest way to check what's in the case.

The second change is retail. 30A Mahjong Studio lists Sparrow 30A, its new shop for hostess gifts, home accents and accessories, as opening in November 2026. The 30Avenue directory places Sparrow in Suite 101 and lists its hours as TBA. A hostess-gift shop down the walkway from two wine dinners is handy, especially if you're bringing something to a holiday table.

Music is on the calendar too. 30Avenue lists Mat Hall and Tim Dutrow for Saturday, Nov. 21. Check the start time with the center before you go.

If you're walking over from south of U.S. 98, you don't have to cross the highway. The pedestrian underpass has been open since late August 2024, according to WJHG.

Lists like this, with the right dinners, booking deadlines and early-closing hours, belong in the guest guide of any Inlet Beach rental. If you'd like help writing that guidance for your own property, or want to talk about how a home near 30Avenue fits the way you live and host, Lynne Andrews would be glad to help.
